Directions for Parking at The Tower at 1301 Gervais Street The entrance to The Tower at 1301 Gervais Street is located on Gervais Street, between the main building and the standalone drive-up teller windows. Gervais Street is a four-lane divided highway that runs east to west directly in front of the State House. The Tower at 1301 Gervais Street is on the opposite corner from the State House, on Sumter and Gervais. In order to enter the parking garage, you must be traveling west on Gervais Street. If you are heading into town on I-77 South or I-20 West, take the I-277 exit to Columbia. Stay on I-277 until the freeway ends and it becomes Bull Street. Follow Bull Street until it intersects with Gervais Street, approximately two miles. Turn right on Gervais Street, cross over Marion Street, and the entrance to the garage will be in the middle of the next block. If you are heading into town on I-20 East, take the I-26 exit to Columbia, which becomes I-126. I-126 then becomes Elmwood Avenue. Follow Elmwood until you get to Bull Street. Turn right on Bull Street, until it intersects with Gervais Street, approximately two miles. Turn right on Gervais Street, cross over Marion Street, and the entrance to the garage will be in the middle of the next block. If you are heading into town on I-26, continue on I-126, which turns into Elmwood Avenue. Follow Elmwood until you get to Bull Street. Turn right on Bull Street, until it intersects with Gervais Street, approximately two miles. Turn right on Gervais Street, cross over Marion Street, and the entrance to the garage will be in the middle of the next block. Once at the garage, take a ticket to park. Visitor parking is up the ramp and is plainly marked. You can access The Tower at 1301 Gervais Street through the crosswalk from the garage to the building, located on level three of the garage, or through the street access doors. When you are leaving the building to return to the garage via the crosswalk, please note that you need to get off on the second floor of the building, even though the crosswalk is on the third floor of the garage.
