Allison Aiken Hanna
Allison was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1998. While in
college, Allison was a Carolina Scholar and was admitted into Phi Beta
Kappa; while in law school, Allison was a Carolina Legal Scholar.

Allison works in all areas of school law, with an emphasis on
personnel, student matters, and tort litigation.
Allison has handled numerous student discipline hearings held before
hearing officers and/or school boards. She has also handled teacher
dismissal hearings before school boards, as well as represented school
districts in complaints filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and the State Human Affairs Commission. Allison has also
successfully defended school districts in jury trials for claims brought
regarding such matters as student assaults and injuries.
